2GoodGuys Rub Me Tender Sticky Saddles Rub

2GoodGuys' Sticky Saddles is the South-West UK's take on that South-Western USA classic Texas Sugar rub. Sweetly caramelises with sugar and honey powder but hey, nicely sweet. We use traditional ground cumin and flavour-pops of cumin seeds to elevate and enhance that sweetness. Did you know cumin is great with orange, soft cheese, mango and pineapple (not all together LOL)? To that we've added our absolute favourite fennel seed, ground and delicately green. Fennel's aniseed flavour is the best with all kinds of pork. Black pepper gives gutsy warmth and we've used Turkish Pul Biber mild red pepper flakes for smooth, silky heat. Together it's irresistible for steak, pulled pork, ribs and burnt ends. Dive in.
