The Story
The Selenicereus wercklei is often called the 'Moonlight Cactus' and is a jungle cacti similar to a Rhipsalis. The name Moonlight cactus was given as this plant will bloom at night with beautiful white fragrant flowers. Normally found as an epiphyte growing on trees in the jungles of Central and South America predominantly Costa Rica. They have long elongated cylindrical stems that can grow up to 3 meters!
Rating- Easy
LOVES- Being watered when about half to three quarters of the soil are dry, reduce watering in its dormant period. High humidity.
HATES- Direct sunlight, soggy/over wet soil.
